The next few weeks will be slightly busier

We'll be able to get a few extra races in the next 2 weekends.  This Saturday night we'll be in Huron, SD for the ASCS National show, now with Jody driving.  Travis Whitney had some unexpected business pop up, so he's unable to race this one for us as we'd planned.  The following night we'll be back at Husets for weekly action.  Then on the 4th of July we'll be racing with the JSTS in Spencer, IA, followed by another weekly show at Husets.

I've been asked why we didn't go to Hartford for their ASCS show this Tuesday, and the answer is simple yet slightly complicated.  First of all, I hadn't really planned on going due to the fact that I have a few issues with how things have been handled at a few of Lyle's shows in the past.  I haven't race a weekly show there in roughly 5 years and I really don't plan on it anytime soon.  Secondly, we just haven't had any luck there it seems.  Third, Jody had a sponsorship commitment to running his own car there so I was out of a driver.  Now, being out of a driver is and isn't correct.  I'm probably could have found someone to drive, but it's not as easy as just throwing someone in the car.  I have to be comfortable with who it would be first of all, and I obviously would want that person to be capable of winning as well.   I just never really even looked for anyone due to the first 2 reasons.  So, while it may not be the answer people are looking for, those are the reasons why we didn't go.  I guess I haven't thought about it yet, but I can't honestly say we'll be at any of the others Hartford has coming up, but you never know!
